Dr Marianna Szabó

Clinical Psychologist

Expert Overview

Dr Szabó's primary areas of expertise are anxiety, depression and stress-related difficulties, including insomnia, chronic pain, unresolved grief, and a history of trauma.

Dr Szabó is a highly trained and experienced practitioner using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness based approaches to treatment.

In addition to her clinical psychology practice, she has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney for nearly 20 years. Her research has been widely pubished in leading scientific journals and regularly presented at major international conferences.
